This is me! I'm a young twenty-something wife and soon to be mama.
I love Instagram, cardigan sweaters, and aprons. In my heart, I am a follower of Christ. He called me out of my sin and into His marvelous love at the age of 18, even though I had claimed Him since I was 7 years old. The day I fully abandoned myself and ran to His arms was the most freeing day of my life. Though I had always claimed His name by calling myself a "Christian," my heart didn't fully believe in Him or walk with His spirit. I knew ABOUT Him, but I didn't know Him personally. That wonderful day in January of 2010, I understood just how sinful, imperfect, and rightfully condemned I was. Scripture says that we all fall short of God's perfection (Romans 3:23), and that "without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins." (Hebrews 9:22) I also knew that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, had left His throne and came to Earth to offer HIS blood for the forgiveness of MY sins (John 3:16). I placed my life into His hands, and I have never been the same since!
On February 25th, 2012, I said "I do" to this man. We met at a sand volleyball game in late August of 2011, started dating a couple weeks later, were engaged in November and married in February of 2012! He swept me off my feet and still won't put me back down. :)
God has given us the honor of being a picture of His love for us, by calling Kip to love and lead me unconditionally, and calling me to submit to and respect him. We're not perfect, but we're trusting that God will complete the good work he started in us. (Psst, a little secret: the first time I saw Kip, I instantly had puppy love. I thought, "That guy would never like me." Turns out I was way wrong! And I'm so glad!)

Last, but not least, this is our little Rosemary Louise! So far she's adopted the nicknames "Rosie," "Rosie-Lou," and "Rosebud." Her ETA is January 13, 2013 and we can't wait to see her sweet little face!
